Producer Rating System
We started the idea of Producer rating's in 2009 with the idea of creating a way for Producer's to be rated based on SEBRA objectives. Our objectives used are consistent with the things we want to accomplish in SEBRA over the next year or two.
During 2009 we discussed the concept with several Producers, searching for things important to a good event adding those to things important to SEBRA as a business and to our association members as customers.
By late 2009 a good model was taking shape, and it was programmed and used during 2010. The results were pretty dramatic being very predictive of good events/good producers and vice-versa. 2010 was a trial, adding identifiable & traceable input to what had previously been common-sense, intuitive and hard-work. Now it could be verified in data generated by the Producer's actions.
During 2011 the Producer's Rating System will be in use and much of year-end qualifying and awards participation will be based on the standings created by the system.
